About Fast Bites Menu

Fast Bites Menu is an independent directory of fast food and quick-service restaurant menus across the United States.

What we publish

Every page on Fast Bites Menu is a server-rendered HTML document built around plain, browseable menu information. We catalog the menu items offered by major U.S. fast food chains, with national-average pricing, calorie counts, macronutrient estimates, ingredient lists where publicly available, common declared allergens, and the typical operating hours of the chain. Our directory currently spans more than 30 national chains and 500 menu items across the major categories: burgers, chicken, sandwiches, tacos and wraps, pizza, sides, salads, breakfast, beverages, desserts, and combo meals.

Why we built this

Looking up a quick-service menu online is, in 2026, surprisingly tedious. Most chain websites are designed primarily as funnels to a delivery app, a mobile order, or a store locator. Menus are paginated across categories, nutrition information is hidden behind a calculator that requires you to add items one at a time, and prices are typically not shown at all without entering a delivery address. We wanted a directory that simply shows the menu — with prices and calories visible immediately, on a single page, in plain HTML that loads on the slowest connections and the simplest browsers.

We also wanted a directory that supports comparison. If you are deciding between four different chicken sandwiches, you should be able to see all of them side by side without juggling four browser tabs. Our category pages are designed for that comparison: every item in a category from every chain we cover, sorted by calorie count, with prices and direct links to the full item page.

Where our data comes from

Pricing and calorie information is drawn primarily from publicly listed chain menus and corporate nutrition disclosures, which under the FDA menu labeling rule are mandatory for any chain restaurant with 20 or more locations nationally. We supplement these with publicly available nutrition databases, including build-time enrichment from Open Food Facts, an open, crowd-sourced food product database maintained by a non-profit organization. Where Open Food Facts coverage is incomplete, we fall back to a curated seed dataset built from chain-published menus and well-known public pricing. We also reference USDA FoodData Central for branded food nutrition data where applicable.

National-average pricing is exactly that — an average. Quick-service restaurants are mostly franchised, and individual stores set their own retail prices within corporate guidelines. Major-city locations, airport stores, and stadium concessions are typically priced well above the national average. Suburban, rural, and Midwest locations are often somewhat below it. Delivery channels routinely add 15–30% on top of in-store pricing. Use our prices as a planning baseline, not a quote.

What Fast Bites Menu is not

We are not affiliated with any of the restaurant chains listed in our directory. All chain names, logos, and trademarks are the property of their respective owners. We do not sell food, take orders, or operate any of the restaurants listed; for ordering, please use the chain's official website, app, or a third-party delivery service. We do not collect or share personal data beyond what is described in our privacy policy.

We are also not a food review site. Our pages stick to menu information, pricing, nutrition, and operating hours. We don't rank chains, publish opinions on which is "best," or take advertising money to feature specific items. Our advertising is limited to standard display ad slots that are clearly labeled as advertising; the editorial directory is independent of any ad placement.

How often we update

The directory is refreshed periodically. Prices and menu lineups change frequently in fast food — new items launch, limited-time offerings rotate in and out, and discontinued items are removed. We aim to refresh national-average pricing at least quarterly and re-pull menu items at least twice a year. If you spot a stale item, an out-of-date price, or a chain we should add, the contact page explains how to reach us.

Editorial standards

Every menu item in our directory ties back to a publicly disclosed source — either the chain's published menu or a public nutrition database. We do not publish unverified items. We do not invent menu items, prices, or calorie counts. When the underlying source data is uncertain we either omit the item or clearly note the uncertainty on the page. Calorie values reflect the standard preparation as listed by the chain or in the nutrition database; modifications, custom builds, larger sizes, and extra toppings will change the numbers and are not reflected in the listed calorie count.
